I am really excited to asked to road test the Yarnit. (blog post coming soon ) Yarnit is currently having a kickstarter to get enough funds to produce the larger size ...The big Sully ! If you would like to help Yarnit get the Big Scully into production click HERE, every dollar helps :)
They turned to Kickstarter because without your help, they won't be able to make the Big Sully! Yarnit is proud to be American made and always will be - but manufacturer's set-up costs to tool the factory are nearly $100,000! We need your help to get over this one-time hump so we can produce Big Sully's for years to come! The big Scully has
The Yarnit is a nearly indestructible globe that keeps your yarn safe and protected from grime, pets, and accidents. Now your yarn will always stay by your side - no more chasing it across the floor or down the isle of a plane or peeling it off your car’s dirty floor mat. No more tangled messes - the centrifugal force design means your yarn easily flows from the globe helping you maintain an even tension.
PLUS, the Yarnit's special rubber base holds securely to all surfaces AND provides a storage well to keep those “never can find ‘em when you need ‘em” items like stitch markers, scissors and darning needles. To top it off, the top of our globe has needle docking slots to keep your needle tips protected and stitches safe on your line when you are taking a break!

Hello ! Do you follow me on Instagram ? I have been having fun making a scrap semi solid square blanket. I have been crocheting for a long time and with that comes lots of bits and bobs. I have a heap of Style Craft special DK in the solids and I am on a mission to use up my stash. I have enough to make a blanket that would cover the house HAHAA so i think I will make it big enough for two people to snuggle under
I was asked if I have a plan. Originally I was going to make a heap and then join them together....but as usually i changed my mind and now I am doing a join as you go method. I looked at my square that I have already made and couldn't bare the thought of having to join them after I had made the square I am really enjoying the join as you go BUT I already had a HEAP of ready made squares (see image of them in the shoe box below) so to join them I have to make new squares ...yep, new ones ! I make them with 3 rounds and then I join them to the 4 rounds already made ones. Its a bit like playing tetris I started the first square in January 2016 and I plan to have it finished by January 2017. I do get bored easily with blankets, but changing colors is keeping my attention, so I may have it finished before then
